How To: Elevate Your Bathroom On A Budget
We’ve been renting for almost three years, so I’m always looking for inexpensive ways to update our home.
One of the easiest and least expensive (besides paint!) ways to update your builder grade bathroom is to change out the hardware. It took me a couple of years to get around to it… but I hope you don’t wait as long as I did!
I swapped out the drawer pulls with some run of the mill brushed nickel pieces that I found at Home Depot. But, it just wasn't cutting it. So, I decided to give them a makeover too.
I wanted the look of wicker/rattan, but without the hefty price tag (I’m talking to you, Anthropologie!). So, I decided to wrap them in some raffia I had laying around.
The process was cheap and easy! I completed it while drinking my tea on a Saturday morning while my hubby and son played.
They’re by no means perfect, but we’re not striving for perfection here anyway!
Let me know what you think, and if you’d be up for trying it too!
